HD SYSTEM No. 4 provides full connection for all analogue and digital inputs and outputs available on Digidesign HD PRE interface.

Up to (40) inputs and outputs can be driven through HD SYSTEM No. 4. Also provided are (24) additional, Pre-Normalized user inputs and outputs, which allow for standard connections without the need for a single patch cord. (32) additional external tie lines provide connection for different types of sources through (2) optional custom designed panels.

(1) Custom panel option for connecting the "user microphone lines" and "user line/instrument lines" are available:

Mic/Line/Inst Panel provides (8) microphone inputs and (8) line/instrument inputs (XLR Female).

(3) Custom panels options for connecting the "external tie lines" are available:

Microphone Panel provides (16) microphone inputs (XLR Female).
Tie Lines Panel 1 provides (8) line inputs (XLR Female) and (8) line outputs (XLR Male).
Tie Lines Panel 2 provides (8) line inputs and (8) line outputs (TRS Female).

A custom designed Break-Out Panel (for rear-rack mount) with ELCO/EDAC connectors allows to easily hook up the dedicated Digidesign HD unit.

Cable kits are provided in three sizes: 15' (4.5m), 30' (9m) and 45' (13.5m) long. All snakes and connectors are clearly labeled for easy installation.
System includes all cables to hook up the interface plus: (1) snake terminated with (16) Neutrik XLR Female connectors or (1) ELCO/EDAC connector to interface to an optional Mic/Line/Inst Panel (user mic/line/inst outputs), (1) snake terminated with (8) Neutrik XLR Male connectors (user inputs 01-08), (1) snake terminated with (8) Neutrik XLR Male and (8) Neutrik XLR Female connectors or (1) ELCO/EDAC connector to interface to an optional Microphone Panel, Tie Lines Panel 1 or Tie Lines Panel 2 (external tie lines 01-08) and (1) snake terminated with (8) Neutrik XLR Male and (8) Neutrik XLR Female connectors or (1) ELCO/EDAC connector to interface to an optional Microphone Panel, Tie Lines Panel 1 or Tie Lines Panel 2 (external tie lines 09-16), allowing for a total of (56) user analogue and digital inputs & outputs.
